What We're Looking for

A blog called Dating & Love features first-person accounts of love and relationships.

We are looking for unpublished writing.

any subject pertaining to relationships, sex, or dating.  Make sure you aren't giving us the same advice we've all heard a hundred times by using the site's search function to look around. Create some intrigue!

We favour tales that have their roots in the present rather than the distant past.

There must be an arc in every story. It won't do to simply ruminate on your current love life.

We prefer stories with a strong sense of place and a sense of being rooted in the setting, wherever that may be.

Send an email with a submission between 700 and 900 words (and as opposed to an attachment).

True stories must exist. Each component must contain only factually accurate information. No fake or composite characters, no hyperbole used for dramatic effect, and no exaggeration.

Topics We Don't Want to See

  1. Drivel by Incel and Red Pill.
  2. Content on marriage and engagement.
  3. obtaining your ex to call you again, obtaining a text response, etc.
We are aware that these accounts are intimate, and we will edit them with all the tact we have. However, we will edit for tone, length, and content. Although we see writing and editing as a collaborative process, the editor's judgement will ultimately be upheld.

Multiple editors are involved in the selection and editing process, you will receive notifications regarding your article via email. You may reply to the email directly or log in, go to your article and reply there in the Editorial Comments section.
